Matilda Carmany Stevens

Matilda Carmany Stevens, age 87 of Knoxville passed away on November 19, 2018. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church. She always put her family first. She was a hard worker. She felt whole when surrounded by her family. She nourished our bodies, our minds and our hearts with her home cooked meals, her wisdom and her love. Preceded in death by husbands, Willard Carmany and Dewey Stevens, daughter, Carolyn Wallace, grandchildren, Lindsey Wallace and Spencer Robertson. Survivors, daughter, Ina Robertson, grandchildren, Chris Wallace and Brooke Ballard, 4 great grandchildren, son, Henry (Sondra) Soward. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Friday, November 23rd at Sharon Baptist Church with funeral service to start at 3pm. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.
