Mary Walters

Mary Graves Walters, age 92, of Knoxville passed away Monday, December 27, 2021. She was a member of Inskip Baptist Church and the Praying Hearts Sunday school class. For 53+ years she taught preschool Sunday school class at Lonsdale Baptist Church and then Inskip Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Tobe Walters; and siblings, Betty Jo, Bobbie, and James. Survived by daughters, Judy (Rick) Buhl and Susan (Steve) Whitaker; grandchildren, Amy (Blake), Michael (Penny), Alan (Amy), Dana (Marcus), and Michael (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Hunter, Seth, Sydny, Matthew, Leah, Annabelle, and Ryne; brother, Kenneth Graves; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like extend a special "thank you" to NHC Farragut for their special love and care that they gave Mary. Family and friends may come by the funeral home 9:00am to 7:00pm with family present from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 12:45pm Friday, December 31, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00pm graveside service with Rev. Mike Segers and Dr. Bruce Marston officiating.
