Mary Ruth Hansard

Mary Ruth (Webb) Hansard long time resident of Fountain City passed away peacefully Saturday, December 4, 2021 at her home. She was a devoted member of Halls Primitive Baptist Church. She had a career with the L & N Railroad in Knoxville, Tn and Corbin, Ky. Preceded in death by her husband in 2016 retired Assistant Fire Chief with the City of Knoxville Fire Department Charles Hansard; parents, Herman and Dola Webb. She is survived by several extended family members. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service Rev. William Berry officiating.
