Mary Jane Rhodes

Mary O. Rhodes, age 78 of Knoxville, passed away January 10, 2021. She retired from KMIC Dr. John Blake and Dr. Phil Watson after 40+ years of service. Mary loved Sharon Baptist Church, her “GA and Acteen Girls”, singing in the choir, and her Adult 6 Sunday School Class. Preceded in death by father Robert R. Odle, mother Lois Lincoln and husband Bill, nephew Kenny Anderson. Survived by husband of 59 years, Robert “Bob” Rhodes, sisters Janet Penn and Dottie (John) Daust, brother Larry (Annette) Hart, niece and nephew Ginger and Dustin Davis, as well as, many other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Amedysis Hospice and all the caretakers who helped us through this time. Friends may call at their convenience 10:00am-5:00pm Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:45am Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11:00am graveside service, with Rev. Mark McCoig and Dr. Jim Robertson officiating.
