Mary Helen Robertson

Born March 20th, 1942 as Mary Helen Overton she brought the sunshine of Spring with her and it never faded over the years. Although, her smile left us on Saturday August 28th, 2021 to see her friends and family in Heaven we will always hold her memories close to our hearts. Battling an illness these last few months, Mary Helen passed over after a peaceful time in her own home. Her parents Otto and Ailene Overton as well as her first husband Tony Robertson had already moved their residence to heaven. Now along with her sisters Sally McKinney, Billie Smith, and brother Paul Overton they can all catch up and reunite. She is survived by a family that she was always proud of; her youngest son Eric and wife Melanie Robertson with grandchildren Julie and Wesley Maulden, Trent, and Lindsey Robertson, and with great grandchildren Lily Hurst and Kaden Robertson. Her daughter Teresa and husband Kenny Malpass with grandchildren Malachi, Mariah, and Carrie Malpass. David with wife Michelle Robertson and grandchildren Anthony and Adrienne, Naaman and Meagan, and Sarai Rachel with grandchild Hank Robertson. Special friends Valerie, Rosemary, and Joey as well as her best friend and great help to the family during this time, Carolyn Cross. An avid church supporter and Christian, Mary Helen served at Forestdale Baptist Church for many years in various positions always being a help where needed. It was there she met her second husband Garry Hensley after Tony passed. We will miss her encouragement, love, sense of humor, and all the things that made her a great Christian mother and grandmother.
