Mary Helen (Marcum) "Mammaw" Moore

Mary Helen (Marcum) "Mammaw" Moore - age 84 of Mt. Juliet, TN entered into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Mrs. Moore was born on July 31, 1934 in Knoxville, TN. She was a devoted Christian and a true Servant of the Lord Jesus. She was retired from St. Mary's Medical Center and Walmart, and volunteered for several years after retirement at St. Mary's Medical Center as a Pink Lady. She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Charles (Chuck) Douglas Moore; parents, Sam and Bessie Marcum, brothers; S.R. Marcum Jr., Bill Marcum, and Ronnie Marcum; half-sister Margaret Plesic. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Kay and Dean Hall; son Randy Moore, grandsons Michael (Jessie) Hall, Blake (Latisha) Hall, and Peyton Moore; great-granddaughters Laila Hall and Emmie Hall; brother-in-law Bill Moore; sister-in-law Lois Marcum; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 3rd at 8:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with Reverend Gene Hurley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM Thursday at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, and proceed to Fairview Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery for interment at 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Michael Hall, Blake Hall, Peyton Moore, Cody Kinsey, Chris Spencer, and Paul Hall, Jr. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel, 4131 Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938. 865-922-9195. www.mynattfh.com.
