Mary Louise Fadnek

Mary Louise Fadnek, aged 78, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Born on June 20, 1946, Mary led a life marked by kindness, selflessness, and a radiant smile that touched everyone around her.

Mary dedicated over 40 years of her life to caring for children at the Powell United Methodist Church daycare center, a testament to her loving and nurturing nature.  She was a devout attendee of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Powell, TN where her commitment to her faith was evident to all who knew her.

Mary was a beloved figure in her community and her family.  She leaves behind her sons, Michael and Ryan Fadnek; daughter-in-law, Michelle; granddaughter, Madison; in-laws, Andy and Elaine Fadnek; niece and nephew, David and Brenda Schram, and their daughter, Pearl.  Her lifelong friend, Vickie Gaz McCarthy, will also feel the absence of Mary's warmth and friendship.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Rosalie Ferrari, and her husband of 50 years, Richard Fadnek.

A Mass to honor Mary's life will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Saint Albert the Great Parish in Powell, TN.  Mary's life was a beacon of love and care and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She will be laid to rest with her Husband at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.  Online condolences may be left at www.mynattfh.com
