Mary Charlotte "Susie" Riseden

Mary Charlotte “Susie” Cardwell Riseden, was born February 23, 1950 and went home to be with the Lord she loved May 15, 2015. Susie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved people, loved to laugh and never met a stranger. She always loved the Lord and through all of her trials and struggles she maintained a deep faith and trust in him. Even though our hearts are broken now, our family can take comfort that she’s safe and happy with her Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents Ora Taft”OT” Cardwell and Mabel Hillard Cardwell; brother Doyle Cardwell and sister Lucy Cardwell Lane; two infant siblings; brothers-in-law Ronald Bridges and Verlin “Buddy” Keith; sister-in-law Annette Cardwell; special aunt Lura Cardwell; grandparents William T. and Lucy Ownby Cardwell and Sam and Mary Hemphill Hillard. She is survived by her sons Jason Riseden and Derek Riseden and wife Jennifer. There are five grandchildren Samantha, Tabitha, Hannah, Connor, and Adalyn; one great-grandchild Noah Eugene. She is also survived by her sisters, Ala Mae Corley and husband Sylvester, Opal Bridges, Joanne Keith, Billie Viles and Bobbie Strand and husband Russ, her special brother-in-law; brothers Don Cardwell and wife Becky, Clayton Cardwell and wife Eileen, Charlie Cardwell and wife Karen, Joseph Hillard, and Junior Cardwell; brother-in-law Don Lane and sister-in-law Kat Cardwell; special aunt Alice Hillard. She also leaves behind nieces and nephews too numerous to count and a host of friends and family. Inurnment service will be held Saturday May 24, 2015 at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mynatt Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
