Mary Alice Akins

Mary “Cissy” Akins, the family “foster mother”, age 51 of Corryton, passed away suddenly May 6, 2021. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed Hallmark movies and cooking. Preceded in death by significant other, Terry Liford, and mother and father; Leon and Lois Cox. She leaves behind her sons; Blake and wife Niki Akins and Jake Akins, grandchildren; Bentley, SJ, Finnley, Ellie and Alfie, close friend and father of her children, Scotty Akins, brothers; Doyle and wife Gloria Cox, Andrew and wife Margaret Cox, and Michael Cox and significant other Vickie Emory, as well as several special nieces and nephews.
