Marvin Williams, age 62, of Knoxville, passed away April 30, 2015. He was a loving husband and father; and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening and watching Alabama football. Preceded in death by parents, Paul and Elise Williams; brothers, Joseph and Thomas; sisters, Betty Brumbalow and Joyce Cabe; and step-son, Chris Etherton. He is survived by wife, Sherry Williams; daughter, Misty Bleckley of Georgia; step-sons, Todd and Josh Etherton; grandchild, Alexis; brothers, Raymond (Brenda) Williams of South Carolina and Perry (Pat) Williams of Georgia; sister, Brenda (Freddie) Green of South Carolina; mother-in-law, Nanny; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral service 7PM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Brother John Robbins officiating. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home 10:45AM Tuesday and proceed to East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for 11:30AM interment. Family will receive friends 5-7PM Monday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
