Maruja Villavicencio Wahll

Maruja Villavicencio Wahll, age 75, a resident of Greenfield Senior Living in Oak Ridge, and an attendant of Iglesia Bautista La Fe (Faith Baptist) Church, in Lenoir City, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Maruja was born June 16, 1941 to Cesar and Augustina Villavicencio. She grew up in Bolivia and came to America in 1964. Maruja was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was an amazing artist who loved to dance, paint, draw, sew, and write poetry. She led a life of service, volunteering any and everywhere she could. She was also a champion for the Latin American community in Montgomery County, Maryland, where she resided for many years. Her legacy will live on in her daughter, Ingrid (Jim) Kidd; grandson, Jonathan Kidd; sister, Maria Eugenia Omiste; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. All services are private.
