Martin "Skip" Urso

Martin “Skip” Urso, age 69, of Knoxville, formerly of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2016. He served as a combat Marine during Vietnam and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Pearl Urso; brother, Butch Urso. Survived by daughters, Lori (Paul) Urso and Shawn Anderson; son, Mark Anderson; grandchildren, Kaitlin Reagle, Adam (Leah) Kirkpatrick, Matthew Islam; great-grandchildren, Aimyn Reagle and Rosemary Kirkpatrick. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, or Parkinson’s Disease Foundation. Family and friends will meet 1:15 pm Friday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, John Sevier for 1:30 pm graveside service with full military honors.
