Martha "Marti" Widby Lewis

Martha “Marti” Widby Lewis, age 75, formerly of Peachtree Corners, GA, went to her Heavenly Home on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

She was saved at a young age and grew up in Knoxville, TN. She wanted to be remembered in death as she lived in life. She had a fierce love for Jesus, her family and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Bessie Hemphill; husband, Truman Little; brother, James “Butch” Hemphill; granddaughter, Megan Widby; and son-in-law, Nathan Lawless. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya Lawless; sons, Clarence “Budd” Widby Jr., Jeff Widby (Anita); grandchildren, Logan Widby (Samantha), Karson Widby, Sebastian Widby, Ruby Lawless, Emme Lawless; great grandchildren, Liam and Millie Widby; siblings, Sara Coffey, Charlie Hemphill (Judy), Wesley Hemphill (Brenda), Johnny Hemphill (Collina), Tammy Mathie Coffin (Jim), Mark Hemphill (Teresa); sister-in-laws, Carolyn Hemphill and Ann Williams; special cousin, Tess Weaver; special niece, Sonia Sewell (Rick), and special friend, Betty Rivadenevia. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Martha knew her soul would be with Christ and her body would go back to dust as God designed. She chose cremation with no public funeral service. She was a wonderful mother and friend and will be missed greatly.
