Martha Cate Kutz

Martha Cate Kutz, age 85, of Lenoir City, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017. She attended First Baptist Church of Lenoir City and retired from National Child Safety Council. She is preceded in death by her parents, Newt & Amy Stoffell; sister, Charlotte Tally; and brother, Bill Stoffell. Cate is survived by her husband, Ken Kutz; son, Joe Mathis and wife, Debbie; sisters, Reva Lepore, and Frances Nipper and husband, Tommy; step-daughter, Michelle Weirich and husband Jeffrey; step-sons, Mark Kutz and wife Gail, and Gregory Kutz and wife Melinda; grandchildren, Niki, Josh, Jacob, Madeline, Mason, Mitchell, Azariah, and Cassandra; and several nieces and nephews, whom she enjoyed. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00pm Thursday, October 19, 2017, at Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. Funeral service will follow at 7pm, with Rev. Amy Violette officiating.
