Martha Ann "Nanny" Mccall Baker

Martha Ann “Nanny” McCall Baker, age 89, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in South Knoxville, retired from Levi Strauss after 26 years of service, and worked as a seamstress for Dutch Girl Cleaners for the last 20 years. She performed numerous alterations for individual clients in the greater Knoxville area for the past 50 years. She was preceded in death by son Dennie Baker. She is survived by daughter Helen Dockery Bruner, grandchildren Rick Harris, wife Kristi, Annettee Stapleton, husband Martin, and Kathy Cross, husband Greg, great-grandchildren Brittney, Lyndsey, Kristin, Jeremy, Nicholas, Alexis and McKenzie, great-great-grandson Jaxon, numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. The family would like to say a very special Thank You to the staff of Amedysis Hospice for the care and compassion. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 18th, 2018 to travel in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 12:00 p.m. committal service. Rev. Charles McGill will be officiating.
