Marlene Denise Foshie

The family of Marlene "Marlena" Denise Foshie is saddened to announce her sudden passing on September 13, 2022, at the age of 60. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sevierville. Anyone that knew Marlena, knew that she loved others, especially her family, deeply and unconditionally. She had a compassionate spirit, shown by her efforts to help those in recovery, those affected by domestic violence, and those suffering with mental illness. She had an immense passion for animals and rescued several throughout the years. Before her passing, she most recently requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to animal shelters in her memory. She is preceded in death by her mother, Florine Potter Arnn; son, Robert William Gordon, III; and grandmothers, Ollie Potter and Ida Arnn. Marlena will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her husband, Garry; children, Kevin, Krystle, Mitchell, Sassy, and Summitt; grandchildren, Neyland, Bruce, and Pearl; father, James Arnn, Sr.; sisters, Amy Arnn and Ida (Mike) McElhaney; brother, James Arnn, Jr.; nieces and nephew, Nathan, Amber, Aislinn, and Camden; as well as other beloved relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a memorial service to follow. In her honor, the family requests that donations be made to Sevier Animal Care Center, Union County Human Society, or Young-Williams Animal Center in Knoxville.
