Mark Charles Pillon was granted the blessing to celebrate Easter by the Father’s side, having passed away the day before on April 19, 2025. Born in San Francisco on December 1 st , 1960, he was preceded in death by his parents, Jacque Charles Pillon and Constance May Hulgan, as well as his brother Guy Pillon and sisters, Renee Wood and Jacqueline Webster. Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Myra Pillon, and his son (from his first marriage to Tonya Hastings), Christopher Pillon, daughter-in-law Emily, and granddaughters Elizabeth Frances and Afton Rose. He also leaves behind his cherished stepchildren, Jessica Carringer, her husband Kent, with their children Olivia Scarlett and Jack Michael; and Josh Alston, his wife Sarah, with their children Cora Lynn and Marcella Wren. And surviving sister, Yvonne Pingatore. Additionally, Mark is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family from coast to coast, whom he dearly loved. A proud graduate of Clayton Valley High School, Class of 1979, Mark built a successful career as a master plumber, known widely for his skill and dedication. Beyond his professional life, he was a man of diverse interests: a passionate model builder, an adventurous hot sauce enthusiast, and an avid motorcycle rider. Though his tattoos might have given the impression of a rugged biker, those fortunate enough to know Mark instantly recognized his warm-hearted nature—a gentle soul reminiscent of a teddy bear, always accompanied by his infectious and unmistakable laughter. Mark deeply valued his Catholic faith, Italian heritage, and above all, his family, who spanned the breadth of the country. His memory and legacy will live on through the lives he touched, and the countless joyful moments shared, especially with his grandchildren, who will always remember their beloved "Pop-Pop." The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City followed by a 7:00 p.m. Rosary Service.
