Mark Matheson

Mark William Matheson, born August 11, 1960, went to be with his Lord on January 23rd, 2021. He grew up in Ham Lake, Minnesota and was residing in Knoxville, Tennessee. Preceded in death by father, Wendell Matheson and brother-in-law, Kevin Kennedy. Survived by mother, Betty Lou. Sons, Shawn Sorlie and Spencer (Krista) Ekstrand. Grandchildren, Piper, Kymmie, Ayvian and Mychael. Brothers, Mike (Elaine), Matthew (Sheri) and sisters Mary Kennedy, and Maureen (Eric) Zaske. Former wife, Beverly Matheson. Uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. Mark had a good heart and was there to help anyone in need. He was a good servant for the Lord. Mark had a unique sense of humor and always had a smile and a wonderful boisterous laugh. He is loved, and will be missed by many. The Family will receive friends on Saturday February 20, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel from 1:00-2:00PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 2:00PM.
