Mark Edward Smith

Mark Edward Smith, age 43 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a 1996 Gibbs High School graduate. Preceded in death by his mother Polly Smith, grandparents, beloved aunts and uncles. Survived by daughter Jaci Smith, father David “Smutt” Smith, brother and sister-in-law Brian and Allison Smith, niece and nephews Jase, Tanner and Natalie Smith, JazzLee Minor, whom he loved like a daughter and her mom Rebecca Minor, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Friday, October 8, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with a celebration of life at 7:00pm with Rev. Greg Stephens officiating.
