Rev. Marion C. Brock age 102 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Beverly Park Place Health and Rehab. He was born May 4, 1919 in South Carolina. In addition to serving Jesus Christ as a Baptist pastor, he drove a Greyhound bus for over 35 years. He was a World War II era veteran who served in the U. S. Army and as a Navy civilian where he used skills learned in the Civilian Conservation Corps to do battle damage repair on warships, in Bremerton, Washington. Rev. Brock was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church, DAV Chapter 24, Smoky Mountain Antique Engine and Tractor Assoc., and Bright Hope Lodge #557 F & AM. He was also a Shriner and Scottish Rite Mason. Rev. Brock was preceded in death by his wife, Murle Windham Brock and son, Gene Brock. He is survived by his sons; Mike (Beverly), David (Angela) and Jack (Betty), along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will meet 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Greenwood Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service, Rev. Justin Pratt officiating with full military honors presented by the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. Pallbearers; Gary Loftis, Andrew Brock, Dylan Brock, Caleb Brock, Col.
