Marie M. West

Marie Welch West, age 90, of Knoxville, passed away, Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Tennova Residential Hospice. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded indeath by parents, Elbert O. and Gladys Holbert Welch; husband, Lawrence A. West and son, Dennis E. West. She is survived by her daughter, with whome she made her home, Shelba (Doyle) Walker; son Billy O. (Barbara) West, Sebring, FL. Grandsons: Kenny and Brad Walker, Knoxville; David (Shawn) West, Sebring, FL. Granddaughter: Karen (John) Holman, Babson Park, FL. Great grandsons: Kenny, Jr., Kevin and Kaleb Walker; Geoffrey West, Zacharey and Trey Holman and Dawsyn West. Sisters in law, Hazel Anderson, Julia West, Grace Ellis and Peggy Albright. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Like Grand Daughters: Susan Walker and Jan Nesbitt. Family and friends will meet, 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel and proceed to Fort Sumter Community Cemetery for a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Jerry Vittatoe officiating. the family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
