Marie Gillespie

Marie Gillespie, age 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was born on December 23, 1945 to the late Frank & Louise Brock. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Gillespie; and sister, Brenda Turner. She is survived by daughter, Yvonne Lawrenz, and husband Paul; sons, Kinny Bittle, and wife Misty, Scott Bittle, and wife Jeanie, Jimmy Gillespie, and wife Wendy; grandchildren, Timothy Bittle, Jamie and Dayna Lawrenz, Kincaid and Keaton Gillespie, Curtis Haley, and wife Tosha, and Clif Haley, and wife Heather; great-grandchildren, Kelby Lawrenz, and Georgia, Gage, and Joel Haley; sister, Mary Esposito; brother, Dale Brock, and wife Jean; sister, Yvonne Baker; brothers, Steve Brock, and wife Debbie, and Gary Brock, and wife Doris; brother-in-law, Claude Turner. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Backpack Kids at Fairview Baptist Church, 7424 Fairview Rd., Corryton, TN 37721. The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Fairview Baptist Church, with memorial service to follow at 12pm, with Rev. Wayne Davis officiating.
