Marie Davis Lay

Marie Davis Lay, age 96, of Corryton, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in the Blackfox Community in Union County, Tennessee and was a lifelong member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Lay was preceded in death by husband, Woodrow Lay, infant son, Kenneth Lay, parents, Herb and Maude Lay, sister, Jean Keck, half-brother, Herbie Davis, and great-grandson, Rex Laymon. She is survived by children, Polly Pursifu, and husband Troy, and Jakie Lay, and wife Gail, grandchildren, Teresa Blanton, Joni Laymon, Angie Thomas, and fiancée Craig Cochran, and Anthony Lay, great-grandchildren, Jared Blanton and Maegan Martin, great-great- grandchildren, Marissa Blanton and Monroe Martin.
