Margie McDonald Yahr

Margie McDonald Yahr, age 81 of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

She was a member of West Park Baptist Church enjoyed being active, volunteering at hospitals, playing bridge, cheering on the lady vols, spending time with her family, was involved in many women’s clubs including OMNI, where she held office.

Preceded in death by her husband, George Terry Yahr; parents, Joseph McDonald and Velma French; and sister, Jerry McDonald.

Margie is survived by her daughter, Kelly Keck Beliles (Lori Garland); son, Joseph Alan Keck (Susan); brother, S. Russell McDonald; as well as 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 5:00-7:00PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a service to follow. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 10:45AM on Friday, January 19, 2024 for an 11:00AM interment.
