Margaret Ruth Harrison

Margaret “Ruth” Petree Harrison, age 83, of Knoxville passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013, following a lengthy illness with her family at her bedside. She was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Harrison, parents, Hembree and Pearl Boruff Petree, daughter, Shirley Hobock Watkins, brothers, Leo and Virgil Petree, sister, Zola Petree, and daughter-in-law, Debbie Hobock. Survived by children, son, Eddie Hobock. Daughters Melba (Henry) Nease, Patsy (Jim) Bailey, grandchildren, Brian Hobock, Amy (Doug) Vass, Jennifer (Greg) Holt, Caleb Bailey, great-grandchildren, Trevor Holt, Sidney Reese Vass, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Randy McNabb and son Doug, and Alana Fletcher. Special thanks to Mary Roberts and Mary Roark with Avalon Hospice for their excellent care. Funeral Service 3pm Sunday Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Rev. Wayne Henderson officiating. Interment to follow in Oakland Cemetery in Union County. Family will receive friends 2-3pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
