Margaret Ruth Mynatt Cooper, age 87, of Halls, passed away Sunday August 18, 2013, at Tennova Hospice after a lengthy illness. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of John H. Daniel Co. She is preceded in death by husband, W.H. (Jr.) Cooper; son, Ronald D. Cooper; parents, Tell and Hassie Mynatt; brothers, Bert, George, Walter, Gene, William Tell Jr., Jack and Teddy; sisters, Mae Taylor and Mildred Mynatt. She is survived by children, Johnny Cooper and wife Nancy, Lisa Wells and husband Ricky, and Linda Arms; grandchildren, Christy, Kevin, Lori, Joshua, Katlin, Kelsey, Ashley and Bradley; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Conner; brothers, Pete and Bob Mynatt; sister, Hazel Brooks; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to caregivers Shirley, Suzie, Chris and Shelbee Welch and the employees of Tennova Residential Hospice. Funeral service will be 8pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Gary Vandergriff officiating. Family and friends will meet at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Wednesday at 12:15 pm and proceed to Union Baptist Church Cemetery for 1pm interment services. Pallbearers will be Terry Shipley, Brent Taylor, Gary Nelson, Chris Mynatt, Duane Mynatt and Joe Mynatt. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association or Union Baptist Church. Family will receive friends 6pm-8pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
