Margaret Lawson

Margaret “Evelyn” Lawson, age 72 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Heavenly Father Monday, November 15, 2021. She lived in Clinton for 50 years but was originally from Knoxville. She loved sharing her gift of music with her family and friends. She played piano and sang for her church family all her life. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gladys Cox; brother, Bobby Gene Cox. Survived by her two sons, Larry Lawson and Carl “Eddie” Edward Lawson; grandchildren, Carley Lawson, Casey Lawson, and Cody Lawson; niece, Leigh Ann Cox; sister-in-law, Bernice Cox. Family will receive friends Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a celebration of life to follow at 7:00pm, Pastor Curtis Akers officiating.
