Margaret I. Brooks

Margaret I. Brooks, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, age 74, of Corryton, passed away on Monday, July 25th, 2016 at home. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Maynard and Eva Coffman, brother, Ledford Coffman, and granddaughter Tagen Brooks. She is survived by husband, John Brooks, children, Eddie Brooks, and girlfriend Michelle Burchfield, and Shelia (Bryan) Mitchell, grandchildren, Jessica Quinn, Ashlee (Frank) Cockram, Kayla (Dustin) Brumley, Autumn Brooks, and boyfriend Aaron Davin, great-grandchildren, Jayce Weaver, Leslie Cockram, Kinsley Quinn, siblings, Fern Young, Rev. Donnie (Vontella) Coffman, Alvis (Connie) Coffman, and Johnny (Mary) Coffman, sister-in-law, Claudette Coffman, several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Special “Thank You” to Dr. Bobby Wooten and Covenant Hospice. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July, 28th, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City, with funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Donnie Coffman will be officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. interment service on Friday, July 29th, 2016 at Greenwood Cemetery.
