Margaret Frances White

MARGARET F. WHITE - age 73, of Knoxville, passed away 3:46 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at UT Medical Center.She was a member of the First Baptist Church Deaf Congregation and attended Tennessee School for the Deaf. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. White, Sr.; parents, Robert Wilkerson and Sarah Boling; and sisters, Naomi Phipps, Delores McGill, and Joyce Smith.Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Will and Heather White of Knoxville; grandchildren, Matthew Claunch of Jefferson City, and Lindsey Akridge of Lexington, Kentucky; great-grandson, Shawn Nichols of Jefferson City; 5 brothers and sisters; several nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tennessee Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Margaret White Interpreter Training Scholarship at Disability Services, Attn: Heather Webb/ TRID 100 Dunford Hall, Knoxville, TN 37996.Service will be held 3pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel Pastor Arthur Clayton officiating. Family will receive friends 1pm-3pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel.
