Margaret Bernice Rymer

Margaret Rymer, a longtime resident of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at the age of 97 on October 15, 2022. Born to Roy and Vera Wilburn on February 26, 1925, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Rymer; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Leo Bean. Margaret is survived by her loving daughter, Sandy (Jimmy) Burgess; granddaughter, Angela (Scott) Prator; grandson, Phillip (Julianne) Burgess; great grandchildren, Savannah and Landon Prator; several nieces and nephews; and countless others to whom she was “Nana Margaret”. She was a member of Powell Methodist Church. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Powell United Methodist Church from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 pm, Rev. Will Shelton and Rev. Jamie Bauknight officiating. Family and friends will meet at Woodhaven Cemetery on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 10:45 am for an 11:00 am graveside service.
