Marcus Paty Perkins

Marcus P. Perkins, age 80, of Knoxville, TN, formerly raised in Jackson, MS, went to be with the lord on October 28, 2021. He was a devoted member of Black Oak Baptist Church. He was employed at Newcomb Machine and Welding for 35 years. He loved his family and friends as they did him as well. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Nancy Ann Perkins; parents Robert Foy and Velma Foy; Daughter, Dana Michelle Perkins; sons, Marcus Perkins and Malcom Perkins; and Granddaughter Patricia Perkins. He is survived by his daughters, Carla Devon Hudson (Craig #1) and Julie K. Mincey; adopted daughter, Melissa Ann Moats; grandchildren, Shawn, Travis, CiAnne (Tucker), Marina (Garret), Michaela Perkins, Natalie Grace Schultz, Gabby Stoner, and Carley Snow Perkins; and 20 loving great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel from 5:00-7:00PM with a Service to follow at 7:00PM Officiated by Rev. Gary Capps.
