Maggie Rose Ledford (Hounschell) of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2024. She worked at E.M. Jellinek Center for over 18 years. She was everything to everyone and loved and tried to help every man who came to E.M. Jellinek Center. She fed all the homeless that came to their back door along with all the homeless animals as well. She offered food along with God’s word. Paula was one of a kind, a true angel on Earth. She will be greatly missed not only by her family and friends but by the community she served as well.
Preceded by parents William Franklin Hounshell and Gracie Rella McGinnis; son Michael Shawn Hounschell, as well as 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Survived by daughters, Amanda (Hounschell) Lemmons, Mary Anne Cheeks; grandchildren, Shawn (Alyssa) Hounschell, Nathan Prater, Natalie Hounschell, C.J. Lemmons, Charlie Lemmons, Mason Cheeks, Jace Cheeks; special friend, Mark Godsey; sisters Delilah, Loretta, Elizabeth, and Molly; brothers Tim (Dorothy) and David (Diane). She will also be leaving behind many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Terry Clabough. The family will meet at 1:45 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 for a 2:00 PM inurnment at New Gray Cemetery. Online condolences and memories may be expressed at mynattfh.com
