Maggie Cole

May 29, 1936 — June 12, 2021

Maggie (Nana) Cole age 85 of Knoxville passed away on June 12, 2021. She was a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. Maggie was a loving homemaker, seamstress and a friend to all who knew her. She spent years of service as a Sunday School teacher at West Haven Baptist Church and Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. She volunteered with Children’s Hospital “Fantasy of Trees” and with Covenant Health Charities. Preceded in death by her parents George and Dollie Rader; husband Robert E. Cole; sister Wanda Hill and brothers Jack Rader and Dickie Rader. Survivors include her daughter, Staci Cole Bowling; son, Rob Cole and his wife Jan; grandchildren: Jake and Ashley Cole, Sheli and Brandon Chambers, Josh and Tina Cole and Cole Bowling; great-grandchildren: Maggie, Cali, Jim, Emery and Maverick; brother, Tom Rader; several nieces, nephews and friends, and her beloved dog, Jazi. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 by 12:45pm at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery 5901 Lyons View Pike for a 1:00pm graveside service with Dr. James McCluskey officiating.
