Johnson, Maggie Annette Capps Satterfield, age 76, of Corryton, passed away Monday June 23, 2014 at 1:20 am at home. Long time member of Bethel Baptist Church of Corryton, retired from Hillcrest Nursing Home, former employee of Custom Shoe Rebuilders Midway I.G.A., Avon Lady, and numerous jobs which she worked three at a time. Preceded in death by parents Jesse & Estie Capps, first husband Ernest (Joe) Satterfield Sr., son Ernest (Little Joe) Satterfield Jr., and brothers Duane & Kermit Capps. Survived by loving husband Hardy Johnson (Fountain City Shoe Man), daughters Kathy Satterfield & Glenda Bradley of Corryton, Vicki (J.B.) Spitzmesser of Columbia, SC, step-son Jim (Teresa) Johnson of Knoxville, daughter-in-law Tammy Pellom Satterfield of Knoxville, grandchildren Jimmy Satterfield, Jesse Capps II, Brittni Bates, Justin Johnson, Staci Tyler, and Matthew Spitzmesser, great-grandchildren Cody Tyler, Jonathan Tyler, and Liliana Fogle, brothers and sisters-in-law Eugene & Reva Capps of Black Fox, Ronnie and Linda Capps, and J.H. & Linda Jean Capps of Powder Springs, Ira and Sally Capps of Maynardville, and Frank Capps of Knoxville, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and all her loving church family at Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be at 8pm Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church, 8035 Clapps Chapel Rd. in Corryton with Rev. Tim Inklebarger and Rev. Terrel Whitaker officiating. serving as Pall Bearers will be Jim Johnson, Justin Johnson, Jim Pellom, Jimmy Satterfield, Jesse Capps, Michael Capps, and Andrew Capps. Friends and family will meet Wednesday at 10:30 am at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel and proceed to Greenwood Cemetery for an 11 am Interment Service. Family will receive friends from 6pm- 8pm Tuesday night at Bethel Baptist Church.
