Madison Wade Simcox, of Knoxville Tennessee, was born October 30, 1995 in Winston Salem North Carolina, went home in the embrace of his Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, May 10. 2023. Preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Ogburn, grandmother Rebecca Ogburn, his father, Kevin Simcox. He is survived by his parents Susan (Tony Koontz), Richelle Simcox, siblings Amber Hindenburg (Erik), Jackson, Berkeley and Kennedy King, grandparents Harold and Patsy Simcox, cousins Michael and Amanda, and two nephews who thought the world of their Uncle Matt in Noah and Elijah. Madison was a follower of Christ, an incredibly generous and forgiving individual who put family and friendship at the forefront of his life. Generally known as "Matt" or "Madi", he lived a life of adventure. He enjoyed music of all genres, riding his Harley, running folks off of pool tables, and most of all, spending time with those he loved, especially his nephews whom he loved so deeply. Cooking for people was his ultimate act of love, and if he's cooked for you chances are it was a memorable meal. If Madison was a part of yours, he wanted it that way.
