Mabel Sherlin

Mabel Sherlin, age 87, passed away April 1, 2017. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Powell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Sherlin; daughter, Brenda Sue Sherlin. She is survived by son, Harvey (Brenda) Sherlin; daughter Debbie (Greg) Mailen; grandchildren, Leslie (Rebecca) Sherlin, Jenny (Daniel) McGee, Tiffany (Carter) Smith, Sean (Lydia) Mailen; great-grandchildren, Mariska, Bailey, and Eden; sister, Dimple Thompson; brother, Arnold (Cora) Jones, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Powell Missions, 7706 Ewing Rd., Powell, TN 37849. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, with service to follow at 7pm, with Rev. Mike Powell officiating.
