Lydia Mildred Mabe, age 88 of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 6, 2013. She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth E. Mabe; granddaughter, Judith Alison; parents, Francis and Tilda Beeler; and brothers and a sister.
Survived by sons, Phillip Mabe and wife Darlene, Larry Mabe and wife Kim; grandchildren, Jenna Sharp (Rance), Alyssa Mabe, Gavin Mabe (Kelly), Ryan Mabe, Keith Fine, Jake Mabe (Jennifer), Cameron Mabe; great-grandchildren, Lydia Maisen Sharp, Georgia Reagan Sharp, Camden Mabe, Caroline Mabe; special nieces, Norma Weismantel (Max), Phyllis Ammeran and several other nieces and nephews; special friend, LaVerne Parsley and special neighbors, Danny and Brenda Gaylor and Joe Carter. Family would like to give a special thanks to Tennova Residential Hospice in Halls for their loving care. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow. Rev. Bud Tipton and Rev. Michael Parsley officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am Wednesday at the funeral home and proceed to Pleasant View Cemetery for 11:00 am interment. Pallbearers: Gavin, Ryan, Jake and Cameron Mabe, Rance Sharp, Keith Fine, Todd and Scott Testerman.
