Luther W. Taylor

Luther W. Taylor, 94, of Corryton, TN, passed away on August 31, 2013 at Ridgeview Terrace in Rutledge, TN. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Gladys Irene Bates Taylor; sons, Charles and Dennis Taylor; parents, Lon and Daisy Taylor; brothers, Edgar, Harry and Olen Taylor; sisters, Stella Stinnitt, Elva Jordan and Geneva Collins. Survivors include sisters, Ann Lindsey and Helen Collins; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his “home” healthcare workers and to Ridgeview Terrace (Rutledge, TN) for his excellent care. Funeral service will be held 8pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Keith Buckner officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45pm Wednesday for 2pm interment service at Little Flat Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
