Luther "Boots" Rudd

Luther Edward “Boots” Rudd, Jr, age 87, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, February 10th, 2017. He worked at Belew Drug Store and retired from the City of Knoxville after more than 30 years of service. He was an avid UT football fan and enjoyed mowing and working in his yard. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Betty Palmer Rudd, parents Luke and Jessie Lee Rudd, and 3 siblings. He is survived by children, Bobby (Lisa) Reynolds, Susie (Ralph) Honeycutt, Gary (Belinda) Rudd, and Ronald Rudd, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and dear friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 15th, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Grace Covenant Pentecostal Church, 5022 E. Inskip Road, Knoxville, TN 37912.
