Lucy Vandella Brantley Duncan, age 95, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted Christian, mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend, Lucy brought warmth and joy into the lives of everyone she met.
Born in 1929, Lucy was loved by so many for her kind heart, sense of humor and selfless spirit. She was happiest in the company of her family, especially when gathered around a table she had filled with her wonderful cooking. Her love of food and nurturing care made every meal a memory, and she shared this gift with all who knew her. Beyond her kitchen, Lucy’s compassion extended to anyone in need. She was always ready with a helping hand and never hesitated to support others in times of hardship.
