Lucie Kay Wilkerson

Lucie Kay Andes Wilkerson, age 69 of Knoxville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on the evening of Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Lucie was a faithful member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving person who cared deeply for her family and others. She was an amazing mother, loving wife and grandmother. She attended Fulton High School and later on in life the University of Tennessee where she received her Master's in Education. She always loved gatherings such as social or family and spending time with others. She also enjoyed gardening and her flowers. Preceded in death by her parents Gladys Andes and Otis Cash; loving husband of 50 years, Everett Lee Wilkerson. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa (Tim) Bennett, Meredith (Brian) Mynatt, Murcedes (Eric) Gunsallus, Moriah (Carl) Burriss; grandchildren, Madison (Spencer) Lucas, Malorie Bennett, Jeb (Lilia) Mynatt, Jacob Mynatt, Josiah Mynatt, Grace Gunsallus, Everett Gunsallus, Elias Gunsallus, Mitchell Mellon, Micah Mellon, Annalise Mellon and loving friend, Jason Mellon. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Covenant Hospice Nurses and staff for their excellent care. Family and friends may come by Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel on Sunday, June 12, 2022, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Family and friends will meet at 2:45 pm on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery for a 3:00 pm graveside service.
