Lowell Martin Lyons

Lowell Martin Lyons, Sr. age 79 of North Knoxville passed away 6:08 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Tennova North. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War as a sharp shooter. He was the best husband, dad, papaw, great papaw and father-in-law. Preceded in death by parents Troy and Lillian, sister Lena, Margie and Leoda, brothers Allmon, Bob, T.A., Roger and Mack. He is survived by loving wife of 59 years, Carol, daughter, Carla, sons Troy and Lowell, Jr. (Edith), grandchildren, Tommy, Victoria, Jamie, April (Mikey), Bethany (Ryan), James, Troy and Carol, great grandchildren, Jeremy, Zayne, Grayson and Maeleigh, brother Kerry. Several nieces and nephews, special friends Jim and Mary. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with a 7:00 p.m. funeral service to follow Rev. Tommy Myers officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at New Gray Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:00 am.
