Kosier Louise Pinner, age 93, of Knoxville, passed away September 9, 2015 she was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church for 58 years. She was a Sunday school teacher who started at the age of 14 and taught up until a few years ago. She retired from Standard Knitting Mill after 47 years of employment. She was preceded in death by husband Leon (Andy) Kosier, son Eddy Kosier, parents J.W. and Bertie Pinner, sisters Mildred Halliburton, Francis Cedars, June Hatley, and brother George Pinner. She is survived by devoted daughter Janice Martin, grandchildren Lori (Lynn) Hunley, James (Nelli) Martin, Chris (Laura) Martin, great-grandchildren Brittany (Nate) Grabowski, Brooke, Brenna, Brett Hunley, Evan Martin, Shelby and Andrew Martin, sister Wilma Bayless, sister-in-law Barbara Pinner, and brother-in-law Marvin (Carolyn) Kosier. A special thanks to Tennova Hospice and Marti Poole RN. The family will receive friends 5-7pm Friday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel with service to follow, Dr. Jack Parrot officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:45pm at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 2pm interment.
