Louise Arvella Peters

Louise Arvella Cobb (Howell) Peters, age 92, died January 28, 2016 at West Hills Nursing Home. She was born October 1, 1923. Louise was preceded in death by first husband and father of her children Robert Cleve Howell, Sr., second husband Clarence Arwell Peters, her only grandson Robert C. Howell, III, parents Willis Ray Cobb and Alice E. Harkleroad Cobb, and all of her siblings: William Kenneth Cobb, Leonard Clayton Cobb, and Betty Ruth Cobb Bell. Survivors include daughters Patricia H. Hill and husband Neal A. Hill, son Robert C. Howell, Jr. and wife Floys of Granite City, Illinois, only granddaughter Rebekah H. Briggs and husband William E. Briggs, 2 great grandsons Joshua Howell and Hayden Briggs, only great granddaughter Sydny Grace Briggs, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was loved by a host of extended family, friends, and church family. Family and friends will meet 2:45 PM Monday at Greenwood Cemetery for graveside services at 3 PM with Bishop Billy McCool of First Apostolic Church of Knoxville officiating.
