Louis William Mehlhorn

Mehlhorn, Louis William II “Bill”, age 59, died suddenly at his home March 6, 2013. He was a member of North Acres Baptist Church. He worked at TVA before retirement. Bill was a friend to everyone and was very generous hearted. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He loved meeting people and never met a stranger. Bill enjoyed children and caring for his pets. He was preceded in death by his father Louis William Mehlhorn I, exactly ten years to the day. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Kimberly Mehlhorn, mother Peggy Mehlhorn, mother and father-in-law Kenneth and Betty Hawkins, sisters and brothers-in-law Mary Jane and Tony Ritter, Shirley (Irwin) and Tim Wolfram, sisters-in-law and husband Robin and John Nicely, brother-in-law and fiancé Bill Hawkins and Candy, nephews and their families Robert Nichols, Richard Nichols, John Irwin, Justin Hawkins, and Jarrod Hawkins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Young Williams Animal Shelter 3201 Division St. Knoxville, TN 37919. Funeral service will be 2 PM Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12-2 PM Saturday at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
