Louis Ray French

Louis Ray French, age 98 of Knoxville, went to be with his heavenly father on Friday, October 15, 2021. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed teaching Sunday School for over 40 years. He is a WWII veteran and longstanding member of local 102 plumbers and steam fitters. He is preceded in death by beloved parents, sister, and son Donald French. He is survived by loving wife of 73 years Mildred Katherine French, brother Jack French, children; Willie Melton, Kathy Oakes, Mary French, Bobby French, Johnny French, Kristie French, grandchildren, great-grand children, great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel. Family and friends will meet 9:45am Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at ETVC (2200 East Governor John Sevier highway, Knoxville TN 37920) for an 10:00am graveside service, Mark Kitts officiating.
