Lou Cinda P Metcalfe, age 83 passed away suddenly, Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at home she was born April 18, 1937, in Harlan County, Kentucky. She was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Halls and retired from South Central Bell after serving 31 years and 8 months. Preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Bertha Patterson and a beloved sister, Marie Lewis and brother-in-law Herman Lewis and many other beloved family members. Lou Cinda leaves behind her beloved and best friend of 62 years, husband, Thomas C Metcalfe Jr. and their children, Thomas Ray Metcalfe, Calvin Metcalfe and wife Renee, Katrina Mitchell and husband Bo and Carl Metcalfe; grandchildren, Jeremy Metcalfe, Thomas Metcalfe, Andrew Metcalfe, Christopher Metcalfe, Jordan Mitchell and wife Kierstyn, LuCinda Marie (Cindy) Bowlin and husband Justin; great-grandchildren, Casey Metcalfe, Riley Metcalfe, Gabe Metcalfe, Mackenzie Grace Bowlin, Avery Jade Bowlin. She loved everyone, she had two great friends, Irene Farrington of Halls and Mary Lou Bowman of Putney, Kentucky. She will be missed by them as well as everyone else. Friends may stop by at their convivence between 9:00-5:00 PM on Friday, May 8th at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel 4131 E. Emory Rd. Family and friends will meet Saturday, May 9th at New Loyston Memorial Gardens at 10:45 for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Melvin Myers officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church 2500 Mynatt Road Knoxville, Tennessee 37918. Condolence for the family may be shared at www.mynattfh.com.
