Loree Day

Loree “Lynn” Bice Day, age 84, went to be with her Heavenly father June 03, 2021. She was surrounded by family and loved ones upon her passing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her Shih Tzu, China. She loved admiring her garden, was an avid reader, collector of antiques, and was dearly loved by everyone that knew her. Her grandchildren, Sarah and Austin, were very precious to her. She is preceded in death by beloved parents, H. J. Bice and Willie “Billie” Bice. She is survived by her children, Sunny Day of Powell, TN, Julia Day-Zerkel and husband Richard Zerkel, of Anchorage, AK; Doug Day, of Amarillo, TX; granddaughter, Sarah Zerkel, currently residing in Santiago, Chile; grandson, Austin Zerkel, of Anchorage, AK; devoted friends, Patty McGrew, Betty Roy, and Tamara Vanwinkle. Special thanks to the staff of Caris Healthcare Hospice for their care for Lynn the past 2 years. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 09, 2021 from 9:00-11:00am at Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel with a graveside service to follow 12 noon at Fort Sumter Cemetery, 4829 Salem Church Road, Knoxville, TN 37938.
