Lois Anne Eblen

On the morning of July 15, 2023, Lois peacefully passed from this world to her heavenly home. Lois was a devoted and caring mom. She was well-loved and well-known by all her family and friends for her generous spirit, and giving freely to those around who were in need. She grew up in the Lonsdale community and attended Rule High School. Before becoming a mother, she worked at the Lawson McGhee Library for 10 years. She was also a talented pianist and a life long member of Lonsdale United Methodist Church, where she played the piano and organ for decades.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Eblen and her parents, Cifford and Ella Bunch.

She is survived by her sons, Chris (Bik) Eblen and John Eblen; grandchildren, Keliea and Kiana Eblen; sisters, Sue Ward and Faye Wallace; as well as a host of many nieces and nephews.
