Linda Faye Nelson

Linda Faye Nelson, age 72 of Knoxville, passed away on January 14, 2025, after a long struggle with illness. In life she was guided by the simple idea of putting the needs of her family and friends before her own. For most of her career she worked as a CNA tending to the needs of the elderly, and for all of her home life she never hesitated to offer her love and support to those around her. Regardless of circumstance, she was always hopeful and positive. Her absence will be felt every day. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Betty Bailey, and her brother Chucky Vandergriff. She is survived by her sons Kenny Jr, Greg and Jason Nelson; her grandchildren Cody, Chaz and Toby Nelson; and her dearest friend Charlene Samples and her son David.

Family and friends may call at their convenience from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City. Family and friends will meet 12:45 P.M.
